Ladera Golf Course is a public 27-hole golf facility located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The facility has an 18-hole course, The Championship Course, and a 9-hole executive couurse, The Executive Course.
Ladera Golf Course, The Championship Course opened for play in 1980. The course was designed by Richard M. Phelps.
Ladera, located Albuquerque's West Side, ha spacious greens and four large lakes. Surrounding Ladera are beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains to the east and the volcanoes to the west. The Championship course is uniquely designed in natural terrain, nestled at the foot of the volcanoes. Ladera is a challenging city-owned course, with the longest playing yardage of any of the city courses.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,107 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,966 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 575 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 174 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 441 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Ladera Golf Course, The Championship Course is # 16, the 174 yard par-3.

Poor quality or completely devoid of grass especially on fairway. Greens in bad condition. Bunkers poorly maintained. Friendly & helpful staff. Good "walking burritos".
